Types of in-home wound care and injury services we provide:

Stitches/Staples

Depending on the location and the size of your laceration, our doctor will come to you and perform wound closure with the help of stitches, staples, and Dermabond® to help stop the bleeding, prevent infections, and make sure you heal in the most painless and scarless way! After the visit we will closely follow up with you until our team visit you to remove your sutures/staples.

Concussion Evaluation

Sometimes hitting your head from a fall can result in a superficial wound; other times, it can also cause a concussion. In some cases, it may result in bleeding in the subdural space and a swift and concise evaluation by a doctor is extremely important. Our concussion protocol will make sure what you are going through does not warrant a visit to the hospital and/or further imaging.

Dressing Changes

Having an infected wound is never fun. Depending on the wound, frequent changes to the dressing with the right tools and medications can mean a much faster recovery. Whether you find yourself in need of professional advice on how to care for a wound, or lack the resources and prefer to have our doctor perform dressing changes as frequently as needed, Studio Med is here for you.

Tetanus Shot

Tetanus is a bacterial infection usually contracted after sustaining a cut, especially when the opening has been exposed to dust, soil, unsanitary metals etc. It is likely you have had a tetanus shot before, but it is recommended for all adults to receive a dose every 10 years. Our team always carry a tetanus vaccine when responding to a wound care visit so you are fully protected!
